چکیده
We use the method due to Batalin, Fradkin and Tyutin (BFT) for the quantization of chiral boson theories. We consider the Floreanini-Jackiw (FJ) formulation as well as others with linear constraints. SYMPLECTIC DEFORMATIONS, NON COMMUTATIVE SCALAR FIELDS AND FRACTIONAL QUANTUM HALL EFFECT M. Daouda1 and A. Hamama
We clearly show that the symplectic structures deformations lead, upon quantization, to quantum theories of non commutative fields. Two variants of deformations are considered. The quantization is performed and the modes expansions of the quantum fields are derived. The Hamiltonians are given and the degeneracies lifting induced by the deformation is also discussed. As illustration, we consider...
متن کاملOn the equivalence among some chiral-boson theories
We make a comparative study of chiral-boson theories in the Florenani-Jackiw (FJ) and linear constraint formulations. A special attention is given to the case with an improved way of implementing the linear constraint. We show that it has the same spectrum of the FJ formulation. متن کاملDynamical symmetry breaking in the sea of the nucleon.
We derive the nonanalytic chiral behavior of the flavor asymmetry d - u. Such behavior is a unique characteristic of Goldstone boson loops in chiral theories, including QCD, and establishes the unambiguous role played by the Goldstone boson cloud in the sea of the proton. Generalizing the results to the SU(3) sector, we show that strange chiral loops require that the s - s distribution be nonzero.
متن کاملNon-locally Regularized Field-Antifield Quantization of the Chiral Schwinger Model
The non-local regularization is a powerfull method to regularize theories with an action that can be decomposed in a kinetic and an interacting part. Recently it was shown how to regularize the Batalin-Vilkovisky field-antifield formalism of quantization of gauge theories with the non-local regularization. We compute precisely the anomaly of the Chiral Schwinger model with this extended non-loc...
متن کاملEquivalence of Hamiltonian and Lagrangian path integral quantization: Effective gauge theories.
The equivalence of correct Hamiltonian and naive Lagrangian (Faddeev–Popov) path integral quantization (Matthews’s theorem) is proven for gauge theories with arbitrary effective interaction terms. Effective gauge-boson self-interactions and effective interactions with scalar and fermion fields are considered. This result becomes extended to effective gauge theories with higher derivatives of th...
